If they can sort the font issue and a few other bugs then this software would be without a doubt the best on the market, but as it is it's inflexible, time consuming and risky if you are using anything than than big standard Ariel.
Background images loaded onto the DVD menu appear quite blocky and rough too, even if the image is at a very high resolution.

The 32bit version from the official website wouldn't even install as the file was corrupted - not a great advert for quality control. This happens on both 32 and 64-bit versions of the software (including past versions) and on multiple machines too. I was using the "Action of the Time" font, and I couldn't even position the text correctly as there as so much lag. Changing the font of any text makes the program grind to a near halt while it thinks for up to a minute (even for a simple font size change), and you'd better not touch any keys or mouse buttons while this is happening or you risk a crash. This is all ruined though becasue it's horribly buggy. I found this program online as I had been through several DVD designers which were horribly fiddly and overly complicated.ĭVD Styler seemed like a very fast and easy way to make a DVD with a title screen menu and chapters, and it works pretty much as drag and drop which is fantastic. None really, however an inbuilt player that allows you to preview before producing and ISO would be very nice. Simple to use, very stable, encodes well, the end quality is very good. Motion/Video background I still trying to workout. I have only tried use it with a pre rendered Mpeg 2 file but will be experimenting with ProRes formats to put the encode under load. It would be nice to have an inbuilt player to test the DVD without having render out first. It works very well easy to use you can add your own backgrounds. My main specification was you can have your own backgrounds and motion/Video backgrounds. I now edit in DaVinci Resolve 16, so I was looking around for a good Mac compatible DVD authoring application I found this little gem, So I downloaded Premier Elements 2019 DVD authoring is not an option on MAC. Then I changed my system HDD to SSD clean install not a clone, CS6 is no longer available. Well here is my story, I dumped ADOBE CC 2019, I have been using CC reluctantly for many years, I kept adobe because of Encore, I used it with CS6 every thing was ok.
